Waterside Bistro - waterfront cafe: Scenic Dining & Fresh Seafood at Bobbin Head Marina

Such a wonderful place, quiet, peaceful and scenic. A lovely little hideaway cafe at Bobbin Head Marina.The food,coffee and service is five star. Shirley runs the place like a true professional.

Had a lovely meal here with a friend, we hadn't booked but they found us a table. There's lot's of seating, mostly outside with views over the water. Service was good and staff were really friendly. There was lot's of choice on the menu with something for everyone. Lot's of veggie options. Food was fresh and tasty.

Though we had been to Bobbin Head before just to roam around, this time we went specifically to explore the café. Despite the light drizzle, we were seated on the terrace under a large umbrella right by the water, which made the experience even more special. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, especially the manager. The food was good, and the $12 entry fee, which includes parking, was definitely worth the money. Above all, the view was absolutely breathtaking. I highly recommend visiting this café.

Very delicious food, nice portions and reasonable prices. Service with smile in a beautiful seating area on a water body. Really enjoyed lunch with friends.

It was so nice to visit here and come for some lunch. The staff were busy, however very helpful in the whole process. The food is very carefully prepared and was brought out in a timely manner. It is nice sitting by the water and seeing the fish around, so it didn't matter too much. They have a carefully prepared menu with a nice range of beverages as well. Thank you to the chefs and all the staff at Waterside Bistro and I look forward to visiting again soon

We went to Waterside Bistro with our hiking group of 17 and honestly loved it. The views were stunning, and the staff were so kind—making sure we were looked after and even offering to take group photos, which was such a nice touch. We had all sorts of coffees, iced drinks, chips, and snacks, and the servings were just right. Sitting outside with the river, boats, and greenery around us felt so peaceful, and we even spotted fish swimming by. Everything was clean and well kept, including the toilets, which were spotless. It was such a lovely experience from start to finish—an easy 5 stars from us.

We live overseas but have family in Sydney, so this has become our go-to spot every time we visit. The location is absolutely stunning—situated right in the national park with incredible water views. Just a heads-up that there is a $12 vehicle entry fee to the park, but it is well worth it for the setting. We visited on a weekday and found parking to be plentiful, which made the arrival very easy. We were lucky enough to be seated at a beautiful table right by the water. The food was top-notch; everything was high quality, delicious, and cooked perfectly. What really made our visit special was the service. The staff were so friendly, and we especially want to thank Shirley, who was incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our meal. It’s also worth noting that the facilities are very well-maintained, with noticeably clean toilets. We can’t wait to come back! Lena

Location location location. A terrific place to just sit back and relax. Perched above the water looking out across the marina, this is the place to be on a sunny day. The portions are generous, the service friendly and the drinks refreshing.
